A well established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury & Medical Negligence Solicitor (4+ PQE) to lead its specialist three lawyer team. This senior role offers the opportunity to shape and develop a busy department within a supportive and flexible working environment. Fully remote working is available for the right candidate.

The Role
You will head a dedicated Personal Injury and Medical Negligence team, managing your own caseload while providing leadership and strategic direction. The work includes:

  • Running a varied caseload of high street personal injury matters
  • Handling a smaller number of medical negligence cases
  • Working alongside a part time solicitor specialising in clinical negligence
  • Ensuring high standards of client care, compliance and risk management
  • Delegating effectively and supporting junior colleagues
  • Contributing to the growth and development of the department
  • Incorporating wider litigation work where relevant and appropriate
  • All work is sourced directly, with no involvement from claims management companies.


Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 4 years’ PQE in personal injury and medical negligence
  • Ideally have experience supervising or managing a team
  • Demonstrate strong technical ability and sound judgment
  • Be confident working independently in a fast paced environment
  • Show excellent client care and communication skills
  • Have a proven track record of strong billing
  • Be an enthusiastic team player with strong people skills
  • Be adaptable, organised and proactive
