Solicitor – Litigation & Dispute Resolution – Cardiff – 3+ Years PQE
Location: Cardiff
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 (DOE, above market)
A respected and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation & Dispute Resolution Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE to join its expanding team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied and stimulating caseload within a supportive, ambitious department that is continuing to build its profile across Wales and the wider region.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a broad caseload of commercial and civil disputes, including:
- Contractual disputes
- Property and boundary litigation
- Leasehold and landlord/tenant disputes
- Professional negligence
- Contested probate matters
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Handling small claims, fast track, intermediate track and multi track matters
- Advising clients through all stages of dispute resolution — pre action, negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and key legal documents
- Representing clients in court and alternative dispute resolution forums
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 3+ years PQE in litigation and dispute resolution
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
- Excellent drafting ability and attention to detail
- Experience managing a full caseload of pre litigated and litigated matters
- Strong interpersonal and client management skills
- A proactive, team focused approach
- Enthusiasm for business development, networking and raising the department’s profile
