Family Law Solicitor / Legal Executive – Wimborne – 5 Years’ PQE
Location: Wimborne
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (part time considered)
Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience)

A well established regional practice is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor or Legal Executive (5+ PQE) to join its growing Family team in Wimborne. This is an excellent opportunity to take on an existing caseload of fully private family work and play a key role in developing and expanding the department.

The Role
You’ll handle a broad range of private family matters, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedy matters
  • Private law children work
  • Cohabitation issues
  • Pre  and post nuptial agreements
  • TOLATA and related disputes (if experienced)


You will also:

  • Manage an existing caseload with full secretarial support
  • Build and grow the department through strong client relationships and local networking
  • Deliver clear, empathetic and commercially focused advice
  • Work closely with colleagues across the firm to support cross referrals
  • Contribute to the firm’s presence within the local community

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor or legal executive with:

  • 5+ years’ PQE in family law
  • Strong experience across a broad range of private family matters
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • A proactive, personable and community focused approach
  • Confidence managing files independently
  • A desire to help grow and develop the department
