A respected UK law firm is seeking a junior Property Litigation Solicitor (NQ–2 years PQE) to join its highly regarded and growing team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of contentious property matters within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for supporting and managing a varied caseload of property-related disputes, including:
- Co-ownership and neighbour issues (e.g. rights of way, adverse possession, boundary disputes)
- Lease and tenancy disputes, commercial rent recovery, and enforcement of charges
- Possession, disrepair, and anti-social behaviour injunctions
- Tenancy management issues and long leaseholder claims
- Professional negligence and historic title rectification
- Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex matters
- Building strong client relationships and delivering practical, commercial advice
- Developing your skills through high levels of client contact and team collaboration
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- NQ–2 years PQE in property litigation
- Exposure to both residential and commercial contentious property matters
- Strong technical knowledge and eagerness to learn
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- A proactive and collaborative mindset
- Confidence in taking early responsibility for matters
- Commitment to delivering high-quality client service
