Solicitor / FCILEX – Employment Law – 2–6 Years’ PQE
Location: South West (hybrid working available)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)
A highly regarded regional firm is seeking a Solicitor or FCILEX with 2–6 years’ PQE to join its established Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with notable clients, handle a stimulating mix of contentious and non contentious matters, and play a key role in shaping the future of a thriving practice.

The Role
You’ll take ownership of a varied and high quality caseload, including:
- Managing complex Employment Tribunal matters and providing strategic HR advisory support
- Acting as a trusted partner to employer clients, offering commercial, creative solutions on restructuring, TUPE, employee relations, and workforce strategy
- Supporting major projects and corporate transactions, working collaboratively with other specialist teams
- Delivering client training, contributing to thought leadership, and building your external profile
- Working closely with colleagues in a supportive, collaborative team environment
- Playing an active role in business development and helping shape the continued growth of the Employment practice
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a lawyer with:
- 2–6 years’ PQE in Employment law (Solicitor or FCILEX)
- Strong technical knowledge and a proactive, solution focused approach
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in developing client relationships and delivering high quality advice
