Solicitor – Wills, Probate & Estate Planning – Swindon – 3+ Years PQE
Location: Swindon
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (Monday–Friday, 9.00am–5.30pm)
Salary: £50,000 – £85,000 (dependent on experience)

A respected and forward-thinking law firm, recently recognised as “2024 Law Firm of the Year”, is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience to join its busy and highly regarded Legal 500 Tier 1 Wills, Probate & Estate Planning team in Swindon. The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including:

  • Advising, drafting, and executing Wills
  • Advising, drafting, and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Administering non-taxable and taxable estates
  • Drafting Deeds of Variation
  • Creating and administering trusts
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members
  • Supporting marketing and business development initiatives in Swindon
  • Building lasting client relationships through exceptional service


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • Minimum 3 years PQE in private client work
  • Strong technical and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence in managing matters independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
  • Enthusiasm for business development and growing the team’s reputation
