A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Associate to join its defendant personal injury motor team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-quality caseload for a diverse range of clients, with clear pathways for career progression.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for handling a broad range of motor injury claims, including:

  • Managing claims in the OIC, MOJ, small claims track, and fast track
  • Exposure to complex claims and multi-track litigation as your experience develops
  • Taking ownership of your caseload and progressing matters efficiently
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering pragmatic solutions
  • Contributing to the continued success and growth of the team


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 3+ years’ experience in defendant personal injury or civil litigation
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury protocols and the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Proven ability in advice, drafting, negotiation, and managing caseloads independently
  • Confidence in making strategic decisions and progressing matters efficiently
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to handle a variety of cases, from straightforward claims to complex matters
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Commercial awareness to ensure advice is legally sound and aligned with client objectives
