A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Associate to join its defendant personal injury motor team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-quality caseload for a diverse range of clients, with clear pathways for career progression.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for handling a broad range of motor injury claims, including:
- Managing claims in the OIC, MOJ, small claims track, and fast track
- Exposure to complex claims and multi-track litigation as your experience develops
- Taking ownership of your caseload and progressing matters efficiently
- Building strong client relationships and delivering pragmatic solutions
- Contributing to the continued success and growth of the team
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 3+ years’ experience in defendant personal injury or civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of personal injury protocols and the Civil Procedure Rules
- Proven ability in advice, drafting, negotiation, and managing caseloads independently
- Confidence in making strategic decisions and progressing matters efficiently
- Excellent organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to handle a variety of cases, from straightforward claims to complex matters
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Commercial awareness to ensure advice is legally sound and aligned with client objectives
