A leading national law firm with a top tier reputation in the UK legal market is seeking an experienced Construction Disputes Senior Associate (8+ PQE) to join its Bristol office. The Role
You will join a highly respected Construction & Engineering disputes team, acting on major contentious matters across sectors including energy, utilities, transport, real estate and infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
- Leading on construction related litigation, adjudication and arbitration
- Acting on high value disputes in the Technology and Construction Court
- Managing adjudications, expert determinations and mediations
- Providing strategic troubleshooting advice throughout the project lifecycle
- Handling domestic and international arbitration matters
- Supporting major infrastructure and energy clients on complex disputes
- Taking a lead role in supervising junior lawyers and contributing to team development
- Building and strengthening client relationships as part of your progression toward senior leadership

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 8+ years PQE in contentious construction disputes
- Experience handling complex, high value and multi party matters
- Strong understanding of adjudication, arbitration and TCC litigation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a demanding and varied caseload with confidence
- A proactive, commercially minded approach
- Experience supervising and developing junior colleagues
- A track record of effective matter management and business development
- Registration with the SRA
