Solicitor – Residential Conveyancing – Gloucester – 2–5 Years PQE

Salary: £50,000 to £75,000
A nationally recognized conveyancing law firm is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience to join its specialist equity release team based in Gloucester. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing firm that values excellence, innovation, and outstanding client service.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Sale, purchase, and remortgage transactions
- Leasehold and lease extension work
- New build properties
- Deeds of variation
- Matrimonial transfers
- Equity release (advantageous but not essential)
- SDLT requirements including reliefs and exemptions
- Unregistered properties
- Restrictions and cautions on property titles
You’ll also:
- Provide technical legal guidance and supervision across transactional teams
- Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and trade body standards
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and introducers
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 2–5 years PQE in residential conveyancing
- Strong technical knowledge and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence in managing matters independently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
