Residential Property Lawyer – Cardiff – Experienced Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer
Location: Cardiff
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 (DOE)

A forward thinking and award winning law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join its established Conveyancing team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to manage a varied residential caseload within a supportive, modern and client focused environment.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a broad caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages and transfers of equity
  • New build and shared ownership transactions
  • Lease extensions and deeds of variation
  • Reporting on title and drafting contracts and transfer documents
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, brokers and other professionals
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA/CLC regulations, Land Registry practice and UK Finance Handbook
  • Maintaining accurate file management and progressing matters efficiently
  • Delivering exceptional client care through clear communication and proactive updates
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team culture


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with:

  • Solid experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential property law
  • Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Confidence providing clear, practical legal advice
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, client focused approach
  • Experience using conveyancing case management systems
