Solicitor – Family Associate / Senior Associate – Bristol – 3+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week, with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 to £80,000
A respected regional firm is seeking a Family Associate or Senior Associate to join its ambitious and growing Family team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied caseload of privately funded family matters, within a supportive and inclusive environment recognised by Chambers and Legal 500.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of family law matters, including:
- Finances on divorce and separation
- Children matters (including complex cases)
- Advising and assisting unmarried couples
- Providing expert advice to clients in line with your technical specialism
- Delivering a first-class service through effective file management
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple offices to support client needs
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- Minimum 3 years PQE in family law
- Law degree or equivalent qualification (minimum 2:1 or equivalent competency)
- Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
- Ability to develop business in your own area of specialism and support other practice areas
- A collaborative, team-focused approach with ambition expressed through team achievement
- Enthusiasm for building trusted client relationships and delivering excellent service
