Solicitor – Private Client – Cardiff – 3–6 Years PQE

Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)

A respected and award-winning South Wales law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 3–6 years’ post-qualification experience to join its busy and well-established Private Client team in Cardiff. The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including:

• Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
• Probate and estate administration
• Inheritance tax and succession planning advice
• Supporting elderly and vulnerable clients with care and sensitivity
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Contributing to the growth and reputation of the Private Client department

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

• 3–6 years PQE in private client law
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and tax planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Confidence in managing matters independently and being self-sufficient
• Experience using case management systems
• Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and courtesy
• Willingness to engage in networking and business development activities
