A leading UK law firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its specialist Housing & Regeneration team, based in Bristol. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering hybrid working and flexibility to support work-life balance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in property transactions and public sector work to join one of the UK’s largest real estate groups. You’ll be part of a collaborative team advising on high-profile regeneration projects and development schemes across the country.

The Role
You will support a wide range of public sector and housing clients on complex real estate matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising local authorities, central government bodies, and Registered Providers on regeneration and housing projects
  • Supporting land assembly including option and promotion agreements
  • Handling real estate transactions including leases, licences, infrastructure agreements, and overage arrangements
  • Drafting conditional sale agreements and advising on overage provisions
  • Contributing to the development of the firm’s public sector real estate practice
  • Maintaining client relationships and identifying opportunities for business development


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) with experience in property law and public sector clients. Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Strong technical knowledge of property transactions and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
  • Collaborative mindset and team spirit
  • Interest in regeneration and housing law
