A forward-thinking UK law firm is seeking a Family Associate with 2+ years’ post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded Charities & Private Wealth Disputes team in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, high-value family law matters in a collaborative and emotionally intelligent environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for advising clients across the full spectrum of family law, including:
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Children matters and cohabitation disputes
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
- Contested financial remedies and sensitive child arrangements
- Working with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farming families, and senior professionals
- Building strong client relationships and supporting them through challenging life events
- Contributing to the continued success and growth of the team
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 2+ years PQE in family law
- Experience or interest in high-net-worth and financial remedy work
- Confidence in managing their own caseload with support
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team contribution
- Commitment to excellence, empathy, and continuous development
