A forward-thinking UK law firm is seeking a Family Associate with 2+ years’ post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded Charities & Private Wealth Disputes team in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, high-value family law matters in a collaborative and emotionally intelligent environment.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for advising clients across the full spectrum of family law, including:

  • Financial remedy proceedings
  • Children matters and cohabitation disputes
  • Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
  • Contested financial remedies and sensitive child arrangements
  • Working with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farming families, and senior professionals
  • Building strong client relationships and supporting them through challenging life events
  • Contributing to the continued success and growth of the team


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 2+ years PQE in family law
  • Experience or interest in high-net-worth and financial remedy work
  • Confidence in managing their own caseload with support
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team contribution
  • Commitment to excellence, empathy, and continuous development
