A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Family Solicitor or Associate from NQ to 7 years’ post-qualification experience to join its award-winning Family Law team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist team handling complex and high-value family matters, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, development, and client care.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of family law matters, including:

  • Financial disputes arising from divorce or separation
  • Children matters including residence and contact
  • Cases involving business assets, farming interests, trusts, and pensions
  • International family law issues
  • Advocacy in family court and public speaking engagements
  • Supporting a collegiate and high-performing team culture
  • Contributing to business development and relationship-building with referrers


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • NQ to 7 years PQE in family law
  • Strong technical knowledge of family law and procedure
  • Confidence in advising clients both face-to-face and remotely
  • Experience in advocacy or public speaking
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and complex matters with empathy
  • Ambition and enthusiasm for building a market-leading family law practice
  • A collaborative and professional approach to working with colleagues
