Chadwick Nott are pleased to be assisting a well-established regional law firm in their search for an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their Bridport office. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator with strong expertise in contested probate, property litigation, and boundary disputes to take on a varied caseload and contribute to a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of civil litigation matters with a focus on contested probate, property disputes, and boundary issues
  • Advising clients with clarity and professionalism across a range of contentious matters
  • Handling files independently from instruction to resolution
  • Building strong relationships with clients, counsel, and third parties
  • Contributing to business development and supporting the wider litigation team
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards


Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Minimum 5 years’ PQE in civil litigation
  • Extensive experience in contested probate is essential
  • Strong knowledge of property litigation and boundary disputes
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Strong client care and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
