Property / Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive – Exeter – NQ–5 PQE
Location: Exeter (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000 to £75,000 (depending on experience)
A leading South West firm is seeking a Property/Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (NQ–5 PQE) to join its well established and growing Litigation & Employment team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly respected team handling a broad range of commercial, residential and agricultural disputes for clients across England and Wales.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing and assisting with a varied caseload of property related disputes, including:
- Residential landlord and tenant matters
- Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
- Land related disputes (rights of way, restrictive covenants, adverse possession etc.)
- Acting for businesses, landlords, landowners and high net worth individuals
- Supporting wider commercial litigation work (insolvency, debt recovery) where relevant
- Working closely with real estate and agricultural sector teams
- Developing areas of specialism and contributing to business development
You will join a team with a strong reputation and high quality workstreams, including referrals from internal property teams and external agents.
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a lawyer with:
- NQ–5 years PQE in property litigation or commercial litigation
- Strong client care skills and the confidence to manage your own caseload
- Enthusiasm, commitment and a proactive approach to work
- Ability to work collaboratively with the wider team
- Interest in developing specialist expertise and contributing to the team’s growth
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
