Solicitor – Residential Property – Plymouth – 2+ Years PQE

Salary: £50,000–£65,000 (dependent on experience)

A respected and well established law firm is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor to join its busy and reputable conveyancing team in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a full and active caseload within a supportive environment that prioritises high quality client service and professional independence.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Transfers of equity
  • Help to Buy matters
  • Plot sales
  • Shared ownership transactions
  • Direct client contact and overall conduct of matters
  • Working alongside trained legal assistants supported by an efficient case management system


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 2+ years PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of property matters
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Confidence managing a busy caseload independently
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
  • A proactive, professional, and friendly approach
  • Competence with legal IT systems (no dictation used)
