A leading national law firm is seeking a Managing Associate to join its highly regarded Commercial & Regulatory Disputes team in Exeter. This is a rare opportunity to work on high-profile financial regulatory and white collar crime matters with a strong international dimension, alongside a team of experienced and collaborative professionals.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for:

  • Advising on contentious financial regulatory issues, civil and criminal fraud, and financial crime including sanctions, anti-money laundering, and anti-bribery
  • Supporting senior leadership on complex investigations and enforcement actions
  • Handling non-contentious financial regulatory work and broader white collar crime matters
  • Supervising junior lawyers and contributing to team development
  • Leading and participating in business development and marketing initiatives


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • At least 7 years’ PQE in financial regulatory, fraud, and white collar crime
  • Experience with complex anti-bribery, corruption, and anti-money laundering investigations
  • Strong academic background and technical legal expertise
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
  • A collaborative, commercially aware, and proactive approach
  • A desire to contribute to a dynamic, forward-thinking team culture
