Private Client Solicitor – Cardiff – 3–6 Years’ PQE
Location: Cardiff
Type of Role: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)

A respected and award winning South Wales law firm is seeking a mid level Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact, supporting individuals and families with empathy, professionalism, and high quality legal expertise.

The Role
You will manage your own varied caseload of private client matters, including:

  • Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
  • Handling estate administration and probate
  • Advising on inheritance tax and succession planning
  • Supporting elderly and vulnerable clients with sensitivity and care
  • Building long term client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the department


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a Private Client Solicitor who:

  • Has around 3–6 years’ PQE in private client law
  • Possesses strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts, and tax planning
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a client focused approach
  • Is confident managing their own files with autonomy
  • Has a genuine passion for helping clients navigate complex and personal life decisions
