Solicitor / Associate – Real Estate Finance – Cheltenham– 2–4 years PQE
Location: Cheltenham (Hybrid & Flexible)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000 to £70,000
A leading UK law firm is seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join its Real Estate Finance team across one of its offices in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment advising a wide range of lenders and borrowers on property-related finance matters.
The Role
You’ll advise on a broad spectrum of real estate finance transactions, including:
- Loans related to property sales and acquisitions
- Development finance and refinancing
- Estate and asset management
- Working with mainstream banks, bridging lenders, challenger banks, peer-to-peer platforms, and private borrowers
You’ll also:
- Maintain and develop specialist knowledge
- Collaborate across the wider team
- Participate in business development and referral opportunities
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified lawyer with:
- 2–4 years PQE
- Exposure to real estate finance, either directly or via a broader commercial property role
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ambition, organisation, and a proactive mindset
