Solicitor – Housing Finance – Bristol – 3–5 Years PQE

Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 (depending on experience)
A respected national law firm is seeking a Housing Finance Solicitor/Associate with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience to join its busy and growing Property (Housing Finance & Portfolio) team in Bristol. The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of housing finance and property portfolio matters, including:
- Assisting with large-scale security charging and due diligence projects
- Drafting and negotiating Certificates of Title, reports on title, and condition precedent documentation
- Supervising and supporting junior fee earners on property finance and portfolio transactions
- Managing title reviews, Land Registry applications, and rectification work
- Compiling detailed title reports for asset management sales and acquisitions
- Supporting business development through client events, training, and pitches
- Contributing to the management of legal tech systems and digital portals
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 3–5 years PQE in property finance and/or property portfolio transactions
- Experience working with Registered Providers and/or housing sector lenders
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent drafting, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Confidence in managing smaller transactions independently and supervising juniors
- Familiarity with Land Registry systems and legal tech (advantageous but not essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and legal IT systems
- Motivation, accuracy, and a proactive mindset
