Residential Property Conveyancer – Swindon – 5+ Years PQE
Location: Swindon
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (hybrid considered)
Salary: £50,000–£75,000 DOE + bonus
A well established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer (Solicitor or CILEx) with 5+ years’ post qualification experience to support the expansion of its successful Homemove department into the Swindon office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive conveyancer who enjoys high quality fee earning work, autonomy, and building strong professional relationships.
The Role
You will manage a varied and busy caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- New build transactions
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, financial advisers, and other solicitors
- Generating fee income in line with agreed targets
- Building and developing new introducer relationships
- Working collaboratively with a dedicated support team to ensure efficient file management and excellent client service
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified conveyancer with:
- 5+ years PQE (Solicitor or CILEx)
- Strong technical knowledge across residential property matters
- A personable, proactive approach to client care
- Confidence in managing a busy caseload independently
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Motivation to contribute to the growth of the department
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
