Tax Senior – Private Wealth – Bristol – 3+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time or Part-time (hybrid working available)
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)

A well established professional services firm is seeking a Tax Senior with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in personal tax to join its respected Private Wealth team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role preparing Partners’ self assessment tax returns within a collaborative and long standing Tax & Trust Accounting team.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax work, including:

  • Preparing Partners’ self assessment tax returns
  • Arranging payment of tax liabilities and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant personal tax legislation
  • Providing ad hoc advice on personal tax queries throughout the year
  • Supervising and supporting two Tax Apprentices
  • Contributing to a supportive and collaborative team culture


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to an experienced tax professional with:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a personal tax environment
  • Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience preparing partners’ self assessment tax returns
  • (Desirable) Experience with trusts, Inheritance Tax, and CCH tax software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive, organised and motivated approach
