Chadwick Nott are happy to be working with a fast-growing and ambitious law firm in their search for a Senior Associate to join their highly regarded Commercial Disputes team, focusing on Property Litigation. Based in the heart of Cardiff, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead high-quality contentious property matters within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
This is a senior, client-facing position offering the opportunity to manage and support on complex property disputes. Responsibilities include:
- Handling a varied caseload of property litigation matters
- Advising on commercial landlord and tenant disputes, boundary/access issues, and strategic dispute resolution
- Supporting partners on high-value and complex cases
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives
- Mentoring junior colleagues and pursuing professional development
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor with:
- 6+ years PQE in property litigation
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage cases independently and collaboratively
- A proactive, client-focused approach with enthusiasm for business development
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- A team-oriented mindset with flexibility and initiative
