A respected law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience to join its busy and well-established Dispute Resolution team in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload in a collaborative environment with a strong focus on quality work and client service.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of civil litigation and personal injury matters, including:

  • Fast-track, intermediate, and multi-track claims
  • General civil disputes across a range of sectors
  • Personal injury claims
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, and other professionals
  • Supporting the marketing and development of the department
  • Maintaining high professional standards and compliance


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor or legal executive with:

  • 5+ years PQE in civil litigation
  • Strong technical and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
  • Confidence in handling matters independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
  • Familiarity with legal IT systems and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to contribute to business development
