A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Solicitor or Associate with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience to join its leading Medical Negligence team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value clinical negligence claims in a supportive and inclusive environment, with a strong focus on quality client care and professional development.

The Role
You’ll be joining a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked team led by a respected regional head known for expertise in birth injury, delayed diagnosis, fatal claims, and inquests. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing your own caseload, including litigated matters
  • Assisting senior colleagues on complex, high-value claims
  • Advising on a wide range of medical negligence issues across multiple disciplines
  • Delivering accurate, compassionate legal advice
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless service delivery


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 3+ years PQE in clinical negligence (Claimant experience preferred)
  • Proven experience managing a caseload independently
  • Strong technical and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
  • Experience assisting on high-value, complex cases
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering the best outcomes for clients
