Insolvency & Restructuring Associate / Senior Associate – Bristol – 3+ Years PQE

Salary: £60,000 to £85,000 (DOE)

A leading national law firm is seeking an Insolvency & Restructuring Associate or Senior Associate (3+ years PQE) to join its highly regarded Banking & Finance team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high profile, complex restructuring and insolvency matters within a top tier practice.

The Role
You will join a market leading Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency team with a strong national and international presence. The role is non contentious, transactional and advisory, offering exposure to major mandates across a wide range of sectors including renewable energy, real estate, pensions, retail, leisure and transport.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on restructuring and insolvency matters for administrators, lenders, corporates and stakeholders
  • Supporting high value, complex transactions including pre packs, CVAs, refinancing and security restructures
  • Working closely with partners and specialists across the firm on cross departmental matters
  • Acting on both domestic and cross border mandates through the firm’s international network
  • Delivering commercially focused advice to clients across private and public sectors


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a lawyer with:

  • Minimum 3 years’ PQE in restructuring and insolvency
  • Experience advising on transactional and advisory CRI matters
  • Qualification as an SRA registered solicitor
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and client facing skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work collaboratively within a high performing team
