Property Litigation Solicitor / Associate – Taunton – 2+ Years PQE
Location: Taunton, Somerset
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (flexible working considered)
Salary: £50,000 to £75,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
A respected and expanding law firm in Taunton is seeking a qualified Property Litigation Solicitor or Associate with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE to join its established team. The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing a varied caseload including landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations, service charge disputes, possession actions, and trespass/squatter claims
- Advising a wide range of clients including property owners, developers, housing providers, and commercial landlords
- Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and managing court proceedings
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to team development
- Participating in business development and client relationship initiatives
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- At least 2 years’ PQE in property litigation
- Strong academic background and technical legal expertise
- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills
- A client-focused, commercially aware, and team-oriented mindset
- A proactive approach to business development and networking
