Family Partner – Cheltenham – Senior Solicitor / Senior Lawyer / Partner
Location: Cheltenham (hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £75,000–£85,000 plus bonus and extensive benefits package
A highly respected and rapidly growing specialist family law practice is seeking a Family Partner to join its established Cheltenham team. The Role
You’ll play a key role in developing and leading the Cheltenham offering, supported by specialist teams and a strong national infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of high value financial and/or complex children matters
- Leading on client strategy, outcomes, and service excellence
- Converting new enquiries supported by a dedicated family law marketing function
- Building your presence and reputation in the Cheltenham market
- Working closely with specialist support teams to maximise client-facing time
- Contributing to a collaborative, ambitious, and supportive team culture
Candidate Requirements
This role is ideal for a senior family lawyer seeking meaningful progression and autonomy:
- Senior Solicitor or Senior Lawyer ready for Partnership but limited by current firm structure
- Or an existing Partner seeking better reward, recognition, and growth potential
- Strong experience in high value financial and/or complex children work
- Commercially minded with confidence in business development
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client handling skills
- Ambitious, proactive, and committed to building a thriving practice
- Within a commutable distance of Cheltenham
