Associate / Senior Associate – Agriculture & Estates – Cardiff – 4–8 years PQE
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid & Flexible)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience)
A leading UK law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Agriculture & Estates team in Cardiff. This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow transactional work within a nationally recognised practice, supported by a collaborative team across contentious and non-contentious matters.
The Role
You’ll advise on a broad range of agricultural and estates matters, including:
- Sales, purchases, and mortgages
- Estate management and agricultural tenancies
- Tax and succession planning
- Conservation and natural capital projects
- Biodiversity Net Gain agreements
You’ll also:
- Develop and maintain specialist knowledge
- Collaborate across the wider team
- Engage in business development and referral opportunities
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified lawyer with:
- 4–8 years PQE
- Experience in agricultural law or broader property work
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively
- Commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Ambition, organisation, and a proactive mindset
