Solicitor – Group Litigation – Cardiff – NQ–3 Years PQE

Salary: £45,000 – £70,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join one of the UK’s leading group litigation teams at the forefront of claimant-side collective redress. This is a unique chance to work on landmark group actions across environmental nuisance, professional negligence, product liability, competition, consumer, and financial mis-selling claims, alongside high-profile domestic and cross-border litigation.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for progressing complex, high-value cases and supporting senior colleagues, including:

• Handling individual claims and assisting with strategic issues across large client cohorts
• Reviewing documents, preparing witness statements, instructions to counsel, and drafting pleadings and correspondence
• Liaising directly with clients, managing queries, and providing updates
• Playing a hands-on role in progressing matters to trial
• Contributing to headline litigation that shapes the law and secures justice for thousands

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

• NQ–3 years PQE (guide only – applications welcomed from all with relevant skills/experience)
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Excellent client care skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Confidence in managing a small caseload through the litigation process
• Ambition, self-motivation, and a proactive, forward-thinking approach
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Prior specialist knowledge of collective actions is not required – full training will be provided.
