Residential Property Lawyer – Bournemouth – 4+ Years PQE
Location: Bournemouth
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with some hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000

A well established and progressive South West law firm is seeking a Residential Property Lawyer (4+ PQE) to join its busy and dedicated Land Law team in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role within a high performing department, managing a full caseload and contributing to the continued growth of a respected regional practice.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to post completion, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Transfers of equity
  • Remortgages
  • New build and plot sales
  • Title checks, reporting and drafting documentation
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other professionals
  • Supervising junior lawyers and support staff where required
  • Supporting a collaborative and ambitious team culture
  • Maintaining high professional standards, compliance and time recording


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with:

  • 4+ years’ PQE in residential property and land law
  • Strong technical knowledge and confidence managing a full caseload independently
  • Excellent drafting, communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Motivation, organisation and a proactive mindset
  • Experience supervising junior team members (desirable)
  • Ability to network and contribute to business development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
