A respected UK law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor with 3–4 years’ post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded and growing team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of contentious property matters within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of property-related disputes, including:

  • Co-ownership and neighbour issues (e.g. rights of way, adverse possession, boundary disputes)
  • Lease and tenancy disputes, commercial rent recovery, and enforcement of charges
  • Possession claims, professional negligence, and historic title rectification
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, trainees, and paralegals
  • Supporting high-volume tenancy management work (e.g. disrepair, ASB injunctions, leaseholder claims)
  • Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex matters
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering practical, commercial advice
  • Contributing to team development and knowledge-sharing initiatives


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 3–4 years PQE in property litigation
  • Experience handling both residential and commercial contentious property matters
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • A collaborative and empathetic approach to team leadership
  • Confidence in managing a caseload independently
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality client service
