Location: Cardiff
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £75,000 – £95,000 (depending on experience)

A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate with 8+ years’ post qualification experience to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high quality property transactions for a diverse client base, including institutional investors, developers and major corporate occupiers. You’ll be joining a collaborative, ambitious team within one of the UK’s strongest real estate practices.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing and delivering a broad range of real estate matters, including:

  • Acquisitions and disposals
  • Commercial lettings and landlord & tenant matters
  • Asset management work
  • Development and regeneration projects
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, leases and ancillary documents
  • Managing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice
  • Leading business development initiatives and contributing to team growth
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 8+ years PQE in real estate
  • Strong technical knowledge across property transactions
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience supervising and developing junior team members
  • Demonstrable business development experience
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work under pressure
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions driven mindset
  • A collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills
