Associate – Real Estate – Cardiff – 3+ Years PQE
Location: Cardiff
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with flexible working options)
Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 (dependent on experience)
A leading law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience to join its thriving Built Environment team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic, high-performing environment, working on complex property development and regeneration projects with a diverse client base across the public, private, and third sectors.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Advising on a broad range of property development and regeneration matters
- Drafting and negotiating development agreements, options, promotion agreements, and joint ventures
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex transactions and projects
- Managing your own caseload with autonomy and confidence
- Building strong client relationships and engaging in business development
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple offices and undertaking short-term client secondments
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 3+ years PQE in real estate or property development
- Strong technical and drafting skills with commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence in managing matters independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and cross-office collaboration
