Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 (DOE)

A respected regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (2+ years PQE) to join its established and growing Commercial Real Estate team in Taunton. The Role
You will work alongside experienced legal advisors while managing your own caseload of commercial real estate matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Landlord and tenant matters — leases, licences to assign, surrenders and assignments
  • Sales and purchases of owner occupied property
  • Secured lending and finance transactions, including sale and leaseback arrangements
  • Sales and purchases of investment property
  • Supporting business development and attending networking events
  • Delivering high quality client service across a diverse range of sectors including leisure, tourism, retail, food and drink, healthcare and professional services


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or FCILEX with:

  • Minimum 2 years’ PQE in commercial real estate or a closely related area
  • Strong technical knowledge and a genuine interest in commercial property work
  • Excellent communication and client facing skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a busy environment
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team
