Trusts & Estates Disputes Solicitor – 2+ PQE – Hybrid
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Full-time
Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 (depending on experience)

A growing and client focused Trusts & Estates Disputes (TED) team is seeking a 2 year PQE Solicitor to join during an exciting period of expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious lawyer to develop their career within one of the largest specialist contentious trusts and probate teams in the country.

The Role
You will play a key role in delivering high quality legal services across the full spectrum of contentious trusts and estates work. The team advises a broad client base, including charities, high net worth individuals, and financial institutions. Work will include:

  • Disputes over wills and trusts
  • Financial provision claims
  • Disputes involving executors and trustees
  • Powers of attorney disputes and contested Court of Protection applications


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own caseload efficiently and cost effectively, working within strict service level agreements
  • Assisting senior colleagues on a wide range of TED matters
  • Advising clients on the strengths and weaknesses of their cases
  • Handling files of varying complexity
  • Participating in business development activities, both individually and as part of the wider national team
  • Attending and conducting client meetings
  • Drafting and preparing court documents within tight deadlines


This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with Bristol as the primary hub.

Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems
