Solicitor – Banking & Finance – Bristol – 1–3 Years PQE

Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £80,000 to £96,000, depending on experience

A leading law firm is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate with 1–3 years’ PQE to join its UK Banking team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-value transactions for a national and international client base, as part of a collaborative and high-performing team.

The Role

You’ll be involved in a wide range of banking and finance matters, including:

• General corporate lending
• Leveraged and acquisition finance
• Real estate and funds finance
• Trade and commodity finance
• Restructuring and special situations
• Working on cross-border, multi-jurisdictional transactions
• Supporting marketing and business development initiatives

Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

• 1–3 years PQE in banking and finance
• Experience gained at an international or leading regional firm
• Strong technical and drafting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to inclusion
• Flexibility and willingness to work additional hours when required
