Senior Production Manager – Pewsey – Wiltshire

£50,000 - £60,000

Role & Responsibilities:

• Using ERP system to plan production schedules to ensure availability and delivery of parts in line with forecasts and customer demands
• Sourcing of reliable suppliers to secure best value terms and implementing procurement strategies that ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
• Developing initiatives to improve business performance, including achievement of monthly targets, and production KPIs
• Working with engineering and in-house technicians to develop manufacturing processes for new equipment
• Purchasing of electronic components, electronics assemblies from contract electronics manufacturers, machined parts from subcontract suppliers
• Managing stock inventory of electronic and mechanical components
• Working with engineering to ensure manufacturing documentation (BOMS, engineering drawings and assembly instructions) is correct
• Planning workload of in-house staff

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a low volume manufacturing environment
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems
• Experience working with electronics
