Support Worker / Home Carer
Location: Stoke on Trent
Hourly rate: £10.00 per hour + Healthcare Cash Plan
Start Date: Immediate starts available
Duration: Temp to perm – long term opportunities
Shifts – 8 till 8, 3 shifts per week, mixture of day, nights and sleep in’s, dependent upon requirement
We are currently on the lookout for several Support Workers and/or Home Carers in the Stoke on Trent area, with a passion to helping individuals integrate back into Community
You would be working 12 hour shifts, either days or nights, developing and regaining patients’ life-skills and building exceptional relationships to get them back to living their everyday lives. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in providing Care and Support, specifically with those with Mental Health conditions and Learning Disabilities, though experience with providing personal care is advantageous.

About You:
– Provide excellent care and individualised support to patients
– Assisting and engaging with daily activities, helping achieve personal goals
– Providing companionship and building trust.
– Provide support to the family members and visitors
– Actively participating in up-skilling sessions, and willing to work towards an NVQ Level 3
The position of Support worker requires an enhanced DBS within the last 12 months
