Delivery Lead, APAC (----812) Singapore

About the Role:

The Delivery Lead, APAC, is responsible for driving solution delivery for Corporate Solutions.

By establishing effective ways of working and guiding the delivery teams using a variety of techniques, the Delivery Lead aims to execute the roadmap of the Corporate Solutions Domain. The role involves empowering and coaching delivery teams to realize value while relentlessly focusing on removing impediments.

The Delivery Lead works closely with the technical leads (e.g., Lead Engineer, Solution Architect) and roles representing the 'voice of the customer' (e.g., Product Owner, Business Relationship Manager) to meet the needs of the business through high-quality solutions.

In this role, it is critical to build trusted relationships across other delivery teams to align roadmaps and execution plans, manage risks, and meet compliance responsibilities.

Delivery Roadmap

  • Collaborate with the technical lead (e.g., Lead Engineer, Solution Architect), the 'voice of the customer' (e.g., Product Owner, Business Relationship Manager), and central IT portfolio management to ensure roadmaps strike the right balance between business delivery, technology enablement, and operational work in terms of scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Provide guidance to the delivery team to ensure initiatives are well-defined and ready for execution.

 

Delivery Management

  • Oversee the operational aspects of the delivery team, ensuring compliance with financial, risk, legal, security, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Work with the delivery team to ensure completed features are deployed into the production environment and delivered to stakeholders.
  • Maximize the flow of value delivered by systematically measuring and removing impediments while adopting a metrics-driven approach to track objective realization and performance.
  • Ensure supplier performance aligns with the organization’s ways of working and values, assess performance, and foster strong relationships that encourage continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Empower and coach teams to adopt effective ways of working and to deliver value in the best possible manner.
  • Share insights to improve productivity by leveraging knowledge of software delivery methods, Agile principles and practices, project management approaches, and industry best practices.

 

Communications and Stakeholder Management

  • Strengthen communication and build trusting relationships across teams to align roadmaps, coordinate initiatives, and manage risks and compliance responsibilities.
  • Provide stakeholders with key insights into the progress of initiatives or features from inception to delivery and into production, including visibility into development efforts and value metrics.

 

People Management

  • Lead, motivate, develop, and appraise team members to ensure their individual and collective performance meets the required standards and supports the current and future needs of the business.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a computer or business field (or equivalent and related experience preferred).
  • Certification in agile methodologies is, depending on the assigned area, desired (not mandatory).

 

Specialized Experience

  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in application management within the Corporate Solutions domain.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Corporate Solutions domain and its corresponding processes, including key performance indicators, best-in-class practices, business trends, and technology advancements.
  • Proven work experience in an IT environment with a broad understanding of various applications and technical capabilities, and how these solutions can support the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Hands-on experience in project, product, or platform management.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and lean methodologies, combined with expertise in the Corporate Solutions domain.
  • Broad knowledge of IT topics, including cloud products and platforms, micro-service architectures, automation, and API integration.

 

Management Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing both people and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and mentor a team effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with Program Managers, Project Managers, Product Owners, Platform Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers, and Testers.

  • Strong business and technical acumen.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
