Position: Warehouse FLT (Temp to Perm)
Location: Deeside
Hours: 24/7 (6qm-6pm /6pm-6am
Salary: £29,934p/a including shift allowance plus overtime
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company that is looking for a Warehouse operator with an in date licence.
The objective of this role is to ensure all machinery is supplied with materials daily, ensure deliveries are unloaded safely and stored correctly in the warehouse and customer delivery times are met.
Additional warehouse functions are included within this role on an individual basis as defined by the Dispatch manager and agreed upon with each warehouse team member based on individual skill sets.
Training will be given where required.
Duties
- Supply material to all coating and printing machinery.
- Stock picking.
- Load and unloading of deliveries.
- Use of in-house computer systems (training will be given).
- Efficient and effective use of time and materials.
- Maintaining Health & Safety within the department.
- Assist with general housekeeping to ensure the warehouse is clean, safe and operating to maximum efficiency.
- Warehouse administration and dispatch
- Stock management and control
- Working with internal and external customers and suppliers and hitting deadlines regularly
Skills
- FLT Flexi / Bendi Licence (Preferred not essential).
- FLT counterbalance license.
- Able to work 24/7 shift pattern, example of shift pattern supplied.
- Good communication skills.
- PC knowledge ideal.
- Able to work under own initiative.
- Experience of quality, health, safety and environmental standards and practices within a warehouse environment
