The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a QA Engineer to join Robert Walters as a Consultant.
As a Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an assignment within our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional support.

What you’ll do:
• Design and execute comprehensive test cases to validate Azure Document Intelligence models, ensuring accurate field extraction across invoices, forms, and unstructured documents.
• Perform end-to-end validation of document processing workflows, including model outputs, data validation rules, integrations, and error-handling to ensure reliable operations.
• Partner with engineering teams to analyze extraction issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and validate retrained or fine-tuned models to improve accuracy and performance.
• Monitor and assess AI model accuracy and reliability throughout testing cycles, documenting defects and confirming improvements following fixes or model updates.
• Execute regression and integration testing to ensure enhancements do not impact existing functionality or downstream systems.
• Maintain detailed testing artifacts and reports, share findings with cross-functional stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement by evolving AI testing strategies and best practices.

What you bring?
• Hands-on experience designing and executing test cases for Microsoft Azure DocAI (Document Intelligence) models, validating field extraction accuracy across invoices, forms, and unstructured documents.
• Proven ability to perform end-to-end testing of document processing workflows, including model outputs, validation rules, system integrations, and error-handling scenarios.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify extraction inaccuracies, conduct root-cause analysis, and validate model retraining or fine-tuning efforts.
• Proficiency with testing tools and Python scripting, with experience working in Microsoft Azure testing environments.
• Demonstrated strength in test process execution and documentation, including test plans, defect tracking, and validation reporting; Bash or shell scripting experience considered beneficial.
• Effective collaborator and communicator, partnering with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to improve AI model quality, accuracy, and reliability.
