Workforce Extensions Ballarat is pleased to recruit on behalf of a well established and highly respected legal practice based in Ballarat.
This long-standing Ballarat firm specialises in Family law, Wills and Estates and Property law seeking a full time all-rounder to join the team. This position offers the opportunity to be mentored across our core practice areas and is an ideal role for a candidate eager to gain comprehensive hands-on experience within the legal industry.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Drafting and reviewing documents and conveyancing contracts – you will draft correspondence, court documents, case outlines and submissions.
- End to end Conveyancing settlement processes on PEXA.
- Client communication and support – you will engage with clients and attend meetings.
- File and matter management – you will work on active matters using the LEAP Legal Practice Management System. We will provide ongoing on-the-job training.
- Professional development and mentorship – you will receive one-to-one coaching from the Director of the firm and collaborate with a team dedicated to your growth.
Attributes / Qualifications:
- Ideally prior legal administration experience within a law firm environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.
- No prior experience with LEAP Legal Practice Management System is required.
