Senior Test and Development Engineer (J64869) West Sussex, England
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Test and Development Engineer, to support our global client as they develop world-class protection systems, on a contract basis. Based at our client’s sites in the South East, this is a hands-on position and involves supporting the development, testing and design for several vehicle projects.
We require a Test and Development Engineer to lead projects relating to vehicles and seating, source test rigs, test equipment and parts, whilst writing test plans, procedures and timing plans. You will be processing test data, writing test reports and presenting test results to project teams. The Test and Development Engineer will be comfortable liaising with customers, external test facilities and other departments across the business.
Background and Experience:
• Test and development experience within the Automotive or Defence Industry
• Data manipulation skills
• Experience of designing and developing test rigs and fixtures
• Technical report writing skills
Experience of working in an ISO9001 environment, familiarity with electric motors and motor design, coupled with FEA and CFD experience, is desirable.
