Accountable Recruitment are supporting a large business in Northwich as they grow their European entities and recruit an Accountant with experience working with French accounts. A good level of spoken French is required.

This role requires a strong candidate with the ability to support the FC on a day to day basis.

Role: French Accountant (Financial Accounts)

Location: Northwich - hybrid 3 in / 2 home - Flexible hours

Salary: £45,000

Key duties: 

• Responsible for France subsidiary including day to day financial management; including Transactional management / monthly management accounts / statutory accounting
• Commercial Finance support
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• P+L analysis
• Ensure compliance with French requirements - preparation / submission as VAT 
• Preparation of all other local regulatory filings (including corporate \ local tax returns and submissions).
• Support FC with adhoc projects, business development, implementations, process improvements
• Making sure all legal requirements and local accounting regulations are met

Experience:

• The right candidate must have previous experience in French accounting
• A working level of French language is required
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Good understanding of legal requirements / French statutory requirements
• Team player, strong no.2 to FC.
