Class 1 Driver

Gi Group are recruiting Class 1 Drivers on a temp to perm basis for a supply chain specialist.

Leicester, LE3

Shift Details: 

·      Shifts available: Monday to Sunday – 6am or 6pm starts

·      Pay rates:

Monday-Friday AM - £17.37

Monday-Friday PM - £20.17

Saturday - £21.33

Sunday/Bank Holiday AM - £22.48

Sunday/Bank Holiday PM - £23.64

*All rates are included in the Advanced Holiday Rate

What we're looking for: 

·      Category C+E Licence, DIGI and CPC card

·      2 years’ experience driving Class 1 vehicles

·      Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)

·      DBS check, 5 year employment history check & CO training will need to be completed by client

Job role:

·      Transporting secure air cargo on airport to airport runs

·      Maintain chain of custody at all times

·      Follow all company and CAA security procedures

·      Complete delivery documentation accurately

·      Conduct daily vehicle checks ad ensure road worthiness

·      Adhere to drivers hours and compliance regulations
