Warehouse Operatives

Shifts: Nights: Sunday to Thursday – 23:30 to 09:00

Location: Bridgwater (TA6)

PPT experience required

Pay £12.85 per hour, paid weekly

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check and put away inbound deliveries, ensuring goods are correctly labelled and recorded
• Pick, prepare and load orders accurately for dispatch
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times (preventing slips, trips and hazards)
• Identify and report any safety issues, taking action where appropriate
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
• Handle and store stock safely, following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Operate warehouse equipment and material handling machinery safely (including EHPTs, where required)

Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution or fast-paced environment (preferred)
• Experience picking, checking, storing and preparing stock for dispatch
• Understanding of warehouse processes, food safety, hygiene and health & safety
• Experience using mechanical handling equipment safely (EHPT experience is highly desirable)
• Good communication, teamwork and organisational skills
• Basic IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
• Reliable, hardworking and flexible with a strong attention to detail
