An exciting Engineering Company in a York postcode are recruiting a Quality Control Inspector, earning between £21,000 and £25,000 FTE.
This is a great opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector to join a global supplier that is commutable from Scarborough, Malton, Kirkbymoorside, Thirsk, and Pickering. Working Monday to Friday you will be reporting into the QA&E Manager.
The key responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector will be:
- Assisting with quality documentation
- Preparing certification packages
- Performing inspections
- Assist with calibration requirements
- Verifying work to test specifications
The successful Quality Control Inspector will be a computer literate individual with an eye for detail, with good communication skills, and previous experience within a similar role.
We are keen to speak with people with experience of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, from an engineering background. Experience dealing with continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and six sigma will be an advantage. Competency with MS Excel is essential.
The duration of the role as Quality Control Inspector will be 6-months. Working 37 hours a week as standard. Your rate of pay will fall between £11.00 and £13.00 per hour. OT will be paid at a 1.5x rate Monday through to Saturday with a 2x rate available on a Sunday.
